About Us

Kroll longboards aims to make the highest quality longboards available!!  The boards are engineered by riders who thrash them and compete on them.  Kroll longboards have been competed on and placed at Local events including: Omaha longboard event 2010 (2nd downhill), Rochester 2011 (1st push, 2nd downhill), and Omaha 2011 (1st push).  The double drop carbon fiber foam core board was pushed from Minneapolis to Duluth for its first test ride and performed brilliantly.

Kroll boards seeks to be at the forefront of technology in longboards, and is constantly experimenting with carbon fiber, fiberglass, and different wood compositions.

Who makes Kroll Longboards!?

Kroll longboards made by Karl a mechanical engineering senior  at the University of Minnesota.  8 years ago Karl crafted his first longboard from a plank of wood and some 1970's kryptonics "borrowed" from his dad's ancient board, and was soon seen bombing the local hills.  While studying abroad in New Zealand Karl really caught the longboarding itch after bombing with some sweet-as kiwis and discovering the huge scene there.  Upon returning he became involved in the University of Minnesota Longboard Club organizing events and organizing trips to as many local events as possible.
